It was always a tradition in my home growing up to decorate a pumpkin every Halloween.

So...here we all are...Robin, Kyle and I with our kids and spouses doing our pumpkins...thank

goodness for Uncle Kyle and Auntie Jen convincing Maryn to touch the gewey stuff inside the

pumpkin. This was Maryn's first time to do a pumpkin since she is two this year.

Back to School in 09

Dalon & Claire ready to start a new school year

This is the day I have thought of for about a year now...the day my two kiddos would be in school all day. Although I am so sad that they are not home with me all day, they are so excited to see their friends and ready to start their new adventure this year. Dalon has Ms. Carter a very popular 4th grade teacher that comes highly recommended by his 5th grade friends and Claire has Mrs. Reid.

The strict but will prepare you for 2nd grade kind of teacher. Claire is excited to be getting to stay at school to have lunch and recess. When I dropped her off on her first day of Kindergarden as I was leaving I told her I would be back shortly to get her. She looked up at me and said, "You mean I can't eat lunch here?" "Why can't I stay longer?" This little girl was ready for this day a year ago.....So...On this day, I too have my first day of school.

Yep! I'm at Elgin Community College talking pre req's to get into their Nursing Program. So this is a new chapter for all of us and Nate gets HUGE props since he got the kids ready, took this picture (as I shed some tears on my way to school) and got them to school.

Lakehouse Fun!!!

After watching dad do it a million times, Dalon thought he would give it a try so he went out with the surfboard and pulled himself up as if he had done it all summer.....AWESOME...

This summer Nate mastered WAKE SURFING. After many many tries, and a lot of consulting with family and friends....It is done.

Claire is my buddy, she likes to ride in the boat and help me take pictures and jumps in to swim any time we take a break. She loves the tube and learned the knee board this summer!
